An existing 15,000 s.f. recreation facility in West Oak Lane was expanded into a $4.5 million 35,000 s.f. community center for the City of Philadelphia Department of Recreation. The project includes a gymnasium/auditorium space, a daycare facility, classrooms, various activity rooms; a skate house and renovated ice rink. The volumes of the original building and its additions are expressed in six vibrant colors.
