Community College of Philadelphia Northwest Regional Center

Philadelphia, PA

This $6.5 million renovation has served to increase the College’s profile and ability to expand its educational opportunities in Northwest Philadelphia. The design and detailing of the project have been developed to transform these 1960’s buildings into a comfortable but dignified collegiate environment.

CCP testimonial by Dan D. Brennan

“I would like to share that I have been in the building business for 28 years, 10 of them as an owner. I know how difficult it is to find an architect committed to resolving potentially conflicting principles. An architect with whom an owner can “partner” must have commitment and sensitivity to ferret out and fully understand a complex owner’s needs and priorities and, at the same time have the commitment to design integrity to consistently improve the built environment, with the highest level of talent. Studio Agoos Lovera has amply demonstrated these qualities for the Community College of Philadelphia. I feel we function as partners in finding and implementing the best allocation of limited resources to yield programmatic responsive results within the budget, on time and with architectural excellence. Please accept the College’s and my personal thanks for work well done.”
