the north wing. [phase 2]

As you can see, we’re making excellent progress on our future gallery thanks to the staff that hung around after-hours to spackle, tape, and paint.  Special thanks go to Shelley Beekley of Sherwin Williams for supplying us with Progreen Low VOC Interior Latex Eggshell Paint.

Wondering what super-special colors we’re using?  No, not just any white, but Pure White (7005) and Gauntlet Gray (7019) for that dreaded upper stripe.

Why add the gray you ask?  A darker band of color applied just above eye level will help keep visitors focused on the art and away from the existing mess of a ceiling that we just don’t feel like dealing with.  Stay tuned for the finishing touches and The North Wing’s debut opening & exhibit!
