James Rowe,
AIA
Principal
“For me, being an Architect is not a 9-to-5 job, but a way of life that includes the art and business of practice, a commitment of service to the profession, and the reward of participating in the education of others. It’s also a lot of fun!”
Jim is a Principal at Studio Agoos Lovera, with experience in the design and management of a wide variety of institutional, recreational, corporate, civic, and residential projects. He holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia.
Jim is also very active in the architectural community, through his years of participation in the American Institute of Architects and in architectural education. He is currently a Director and President-Elect of AIA Philadelphia, a director of the Center for Architecture, and is an Adjunct Professor of Architecture at Drexel University, leading a design studio on Thursday nights. Jim will continue his service to the profession by serving as the 2015 President of AIA Philadelphia.
