Howard University Capital Renewal Assessment

This project involves a comprehensive assessment of approximately 90 buildings on Howard University’s Main Campus, Law School Campus, and Divinity School Campus in Washington, DC, as well as the Research Facility in Beltsville, MD. The assessment teams reviewed a range of issues including building envelope, ADA, Life Safety, and Environmental and Site conditions. The results of these surveys were included in a fully-interactive, custom digital database to be accessed by various University personnel via a web browser. The database includes a series of recommendations and corresponding cost estimates to be used in developing the University’s capital improvement budgets over the next 5 years.
